Changing a User’s Password

Changing another user’s password requires logging into Acorn CatDV with an account with administrator privileges

Login to Acorn with an administrative account.

Select the admin “cog” located in the menubar

Select Users in the sidebar to reveal the Acorn default users.

The admin and worker users are system users that should not be modified.

Select the user whose password you are changing.

Set the new password to a known password, and enter the same password to confirm. You’ll need to give this known password to the user and instruct them to change their password the next time they log in.
